Dax has served as counsel for individuals in a broad range of family law cases including child custody, international and interstate move-away disputes, spousal support and child support collection and enforcement, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, asset discovery, protection and preservation, and domestic violence restraining orders.

His entertainment law clients have included award-winning directors, producers and production companies of independent films and television at entertainment heavyweights such as Disney-ABC Television Group, Mark Gordon Productions, Mali Finn Casting, and the American Film Institute. One such film, American Made, went on to win a total of seventeen awards at nearly forty film festivals around the world including awards from Tribeca Film Festival, Aspen Film Festival, San Diego Film Festival, and an Award for Excellence from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).

Dax’s business clients include architectural firms in Orange County, Babelli Motor Car Company and Unique Automotive Ltd. of San Diego, the Del Monte Group located in Alamo, CA, and MobileTrac LLC, the creators of instaVin™.

Before being admitted to the California Bar, Dax worked as a contracts manager for Tom Sawyer Software negotiating licensing deals with companies such as Cisco Systems, Oracle, Saba, and 3Com, as a contract analyst for NBC Universal Feature Films legal department assigned to the Alfred Hitchcock film library, and as a paralegal for the international law firm Lovells in its London, UK Capital Markets practice.
